Abstract: 

IMAM KHOMEINI RELIEF FOUNDATION (IKRF) was officially established on March 5th 1979, to aid the underprivileged, alleviate poverty and improve the self sufficiency of the needy people. The FOUNDATION, funded mainly by people’s contributions, has implemented several plans to preserve human benevolence, assist the needy people, meet their essential needs and solve their cultural and economic problems. Its services for the improvement of the lives of the needy people including providing food, clothes, housing, health care, insurance, education and employment are not limited to borders and have been extended to other countries.

Abstract: 

This study was conducted to present a conceptual model of organizational entrepreneurship in the IMAM KHOMEINI RELIEF FOUNDATION. To achieve this goal the qualitative approach of grounded theory methodology, the paradigm model (regular or systematic design), was employed. In this regard, eighteen university professors, managers and experts in IMAM KHOMEINI RELIEF FOUNDATION were purposefully selected as the statistical sample for semi-structured interviews. The manuscripts of the interviews were analyzed in three stages of open, axial, and selective coding. In the present study, Lincoln and Guba reliability criteria were used for validation examination. Therefore, the researcher categorized 186 concepts and 15 sub-categories using the paradigm model of Strauss and Corbin. These six factors were categorized in the common form of Grounded Theory model includes causal conditions-entrepreneurial leadership, human resource capabilities, new social needs-, contextual conditions-culture and values of the organization, mission of the organization, and organizational structure-, axial innovation, smart risk-taking-, strategy-strategic modernization, empowerment policies and entrepreneurial talent management-, intervening conditions-economic/social environment-, consequences-human capital excellence, Improving organizational performance, and social value-creation.

Abstract: 

Social innovation has attracted the attention of many researchers in recent years; as it offers new answers to social challenges and whole community use its advantages. The main objective of this research is to design a social innovation success model in the IMAM KHOMEINI RELIEF FOUNDATION as a social organization. This research is fundamental-applied in term of purpose and its method is grounded theory. Participants of this research are experienced staffand experts in the processes of IMAM KHOMEINI RELIEF FOUNDATION that by combining the methods of purposive sampling, snowball and theoretical sampling, 16 wer selected to perform semi-structured interviews. Data analysed with more than 200 primary codes in Atlas. ti 8. Factors of mission and Strategy, Organizational Culture, Servant Leadership Style, Organizational Agility, Extensive and favorable interactions with Enviroment and Facilitating Financial Conditions recognized as factors for facilitator level. Abstract: 

The ultimate goal of any state or public organization is to function in such a way that seeks to act in the public interest and, consequently, result in the general public consent. Since this is reflected by the manners of conduct and performance of organizations’ employees towards people and clients under the title of Organizational Stewardship, it is important to identify the factors that affect such a conduct to be realized within organizations This paper, which is based on a quantitative research methodology, attempted to study the factors that affected organizational serving to be developed within the IMAM KHOMEINI RELIEF FOUNDATION using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The statistical population of this study consisted of all the employees working in the IMAM KHOMEINI RELIEF FOUNDATION, i.e.780 individuals, 256 of whom were chosen as the participants using the Stratified Random Sampling method and Cochran’s Formula. Data were collected using the designed questionnaire, and were analyzed through conducting the Structural Equation Test and a factor analysis in LISREL software. The results verified the hypotheses, and finally, it was suggested that employee awareness of the motivating factors, the existence of a serving attitude and of an appropriate milieu for organizational serving, and ultimately, reinforcing such conducts with the help of a servant leader and local demanding play an important role towards the development of an organizational serving attitude.

Abstract: 

Background: The aim of this survey is to compare the emotional and behavioral problems of children with only one parent versus those from two-parent families. We analyzed behavioral problems such as aggression, delinquency and socialization issues, as well as emotional problems such as depression, anxiety, and somatic complaints.Methods: Using a multi-stage cluster sampling, 10 of the 20 geographic regions covered by IMAM KHOMEINI RELIEF FOUNDATION were selected. Using systematic random sampling, 460 families with children aged 4-18 years were selected. All children were evaluated using the Child Behavior Check List (CBCL) to determine behavioral and emotional problems. Logistic regression tests were conducted to measure the effects variables, including age, gender, number of parents in the family, psychiatric history of each child and history of parental psychiatric treatment, on the internalizing, externalizing and total CBCL scores. A cut-off score of 64 was used to convert raw scores.Results: No differences were observed in CBCL subscales between single-parent children vs. children of two-parent families.Conclusion: Regarding the two-parent families among the study population, the results could not be generalized. As these families have qualified for assistance, the father cannot manage the family because of his disability, such as physical or mental problems.This minimizes the effect of having a father in a two-parent family, rendering them similar to single-parent families. Thus, differences were not observed between the two types of families. Further studies are necessary to compare single-parent families with two-parent families among the community.

Abstract: 

Social issues have been increasingly complex and traditional methods unable to solve the issues. Designing a model for social entrepreneurship in NGOs is then a must. This study tried to design a model in charity centers of the IMAM KHOMEINI RELIEF FOUNDATION. Its statistical population of this applied research is consisted of university faculty members, managers and experts of the RELIEF FOUNDATION, and activists of social entrepreneurship in Shiraz. Purposive sampling was used to select members of the sample, which continued to saturation and 18 people were selected. A semi-structured interview was used to collect data. Brown and Clark’s six-step method of theme analysis was used to analyze the data. Being run for three steps of coding, themes were presented. The results showed that a model for social entrepreneurship in NGOs has 7 overarching themes and 17 organizing themes: flexible structure (pioneering and inclusive), entrepreneurial culture (trustworthy, responsible, and altruistic), social value creating (social empowerment and support), entrepreneurial strategies (cooperation and creation of resources), community-oriented leadership (creative, collaborative, efficient), social service oriented employees (extra-role, interacting and efficient) and creative processes (quick and networked). It is suggested therefore that NGOs, especially charity centers of IMAM KHOMEINI RELIEF FOUNDATION, use the proposed model of this research to respond better to social issues.

Abstract: 

Objective: The present study aimed at studying the health status of the elderly supported by IMAM KHOMEINI RELIEF FOUNDATION in Birjand in 2007.Materials and Methods: This descriptive analytical study was done on 250 elderly people who were supported by IMAM KHOMEINI committee in Birjand. For data collection the comprehensive health questionnaire of the elderly was used. The questionnaire was filled out through interviewing with the subjects; and their weight, blood pressure, and height were measured under standard condition. The obtained data was analyzed by SPSS software and using chi-square test at the significant level p<0.05.Results: This study was conducted on 250 elderly people whose mean age was 7H8.7 years. The subjects included 119 (47.6%) females and 131 (52.4%) males.About 88.8% of the subjects were illiterate, 41.6% of them had problems in housing, 11.2% and 93.2% also had insurance and financial problems, respectively. Also 10.4% of the old people had a history of diabetes and 39.6% were hypertensive, 68% had vision problems and 10.8% was suffering urologic complications. As far as depression is concerned, 68.4% had mild depression and 3.2% had severed depression. Regarding cognitive problems, 24.4% ranged between mild to severe.Moreover, 24% of the subjects suffered malnutrition and 67.6% were at risk of it.Hypertension was more prevalent in males than in females (P=0.07); more in urban than in rural areas (P=0.04). There was a significant difference in the prevalence of depression in women compared with men (p<0.001); the prevalence was also more in the inhabitants of the urban areas in comparison with rural areas inhabitants (P=0.02). A significant difference was found between males and females in terms of daily activities.Conclusion: Regarding high prevalence of hypertension, hearing and vision problems- which are the underlying causes of other physical and mental problems of the elderly - it is necessary for health-care authorities, supporting committee (IMAM KHOMEINI supporting committee), and other favoring organs to take more account of living and financial problems of the erderly.

Abstract: 

Social innovation as a new paradigm in the field of innovation creates social value, promotes greater welfare and develops capacities and capabilities and solves social challenges and social organizations are one of the most effective actors in creating social innovation. The main purpose of this study is to present the model of creating social innovation and its antecedents and consequences in the IMAM KHOMEINI RELIEF FOUNDATION as an innovative social organization. The present research is developmental-applied in term of purpose and its strategy is classical grounded theory. In this research, by snowball sampling method, 16 semi-structured interviews with experienced and expert individuals in the plans and processes of IMAM KHOMEINI RELIEF FOUNDATION were conducted. Data analysis was performed in the form of open coding, selective coding and theoretical coding with about 150 primary codes in qualitative data analysis software, Atlas. ti 8. Finally, the model of creating social innovation in IMAM KHOMEINI RELIEF FOUNDATION was identified with three major categories such as environmental facilitators of social innovation, creation of social innovation and social development and with the focus on the category of social innovation creation.

Abstract: 

Employees regulate their behavior according to their perception of that of managers.Besides, understanding the nature of employees’ perception of managers’ behavior is an unmatched source for the latter because it can help them improve their behavior. This study was conducted with the aim of exploring and understanding the behavioral components of managers that can amplify extra role behaviors of social workers in IMAM KHOMEINI RELIEF FOUNDATION using the phenomenological strategy and Colaizzi method. To achieve qualitative data, purposive sampling was used. The data were obtained through semi-structured interviews with 31 social workers to achieve theoretical saturation and were analyzed by using the Colaizzi seven-step method. Finally, nine themes were extracted among which the manager's supporting behavior had a higher priority than other themes. In order to validate qualitative data in addition to the final stage of Colaizzi method, Guba and Lincoln criteria methods were also implemented. Apart from the recognized themes, it was found that people are not impressed only by their managers' positive behavior, but sometimes they show extra role behaviors through their own self-management or their ideals and beliefs. Our findings in this study contribute to the development and implementation of management improvement programs. They can also help to increase job performance and extra role behaviors of social workers in connection with the clients of IMAM KHOMEINI RELIEF FOUNDATION.

Abstract: 

One of the primary goals of a knowledge-based economy over the last century has been to eradicate poverty. Because of the importance of the discussion of innovation for deprivation, global FOUNDATIONs support innovative entrepreneurial activities to affect change in lower-income people. Since 2019, the IMAM KHOMEINI RELIEF FOUNDATION has demonstrated a shift toward a knowledge-based economy through the implementation of empowerment policies in economic activities. This study aims to analyze the pathology of the RELIEF committee's current policies concerning the development of knowledge-based activities in the target society, and then offer policies for the creation of new, innovative jobs and solutions in the underprivileged sector of society. This study used a descriptive-analytical approach. An open-ended semi-structured interview has been used to collect information. The managers and RELIEF committees from various Iranian provinces were included in the statistical population. The study's findings point to 15 major organizational problems. Economic and structural obstacles make up the two main categories of these challenges. In general, evidence reveals that the most significant challenges for the development of innovative jobs are lack of relevant strategies, administrative bureaucracy, lack of a regular talent search and talent assessment process, lack of delivering needs-aligned training, and lack of a strategy and program for product marketing, lack of generating ideas, insufficient financing, and lack of bank guarantees required to secure facilities.
